Siva Velu, Executive Vice President, East

Siva Velu, Executive Vice President, is responsible for leading Covansys’ East Region business operations and strategy, including several global accounts with team members located in the USA, Europe, Asia and Australia. Prior to his current position, he managed the Central Region and the Great Lakes Region.

Based out of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Mr. Velu manages a global team, which provides industry-specific computer application solutions to major Fortune 1000 companies. Leveraging Covansys’ global delivery model, the service offerings include total IT outsourcing, application development and maintenance, technology solutions and BPO/KPO in the banking and financial, insurance, healthcare, manufacturing and automotive, and retail and utility industries.

Mr. Velu has more than 25 years of IT industry experience, including extensive international assignments in Australia, Hong Kong, India and the U.K. Prior to joining Covansys, Mr. Velu worked with a large $8 billion distribution company in Australia as part of their Business Process Re-engineering team.

Mr. Velu holds a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters degree in Computer Science.
