Our Comprehensive Six-Phased Approach
Phase One: Business Process Remediation:
Your systems are working – but will they be relevant in
a Sunrise/CSI world? Partnering with your business units, Covansys
will identify the
information needs of newly-affected departments in terms of timeliness, critical events, marketing strategies, regulatory compliance, and
logistics. Covansys can revolutionize your supply chain management
by incorporating process improvements, resulting in the timely remediation
of outstanding CSI and Sunrise issues. |
Phase Two: Impact Assessment: Our impact assessment tools will
identify, line-by-line, where application changes will need to be made.
A cost estimate to move forward to implement new standards – as
well as a cost estimate NOT to move forward – will be provided.
Phase Three: Strategy Formulation and Conversion Strategy:
The ‘game plan’ is the most important success factor
of the project and will include a comprehensive strategy
to address UPC handling; application grouping and prioritization;
and project, testing and conversion production planning.
Phase Four: Conversion: This is where all the planning
pays off and we convert your applications to comply with
the new CSI regulations and GTIN options. Cost efficiencies
can be achieved by leveraging one of Covansys’ offsite
or offshore facilities.
Phase Five: Testing: Covansys will execute unit and
systems tests for all applications to ensure a smooth implementation.
Phase Six: Implementation and Support: Working with
your application managers, in a phased approach, Covansys
will move your applications back into production.
