PMI PMP ^® PMPPMI

The professionals at Covansys' centers worldwide include over 200 project managers certified as Project Management Professionals (PMP^®) as assessed by the Project Management Institute (PMI^®).

BS7799-2:2002 CERTIFICATION

In 2005, Covansys was awarded the British Standard Information Security Management System (ISMS) BS7799-2:2002 certification by the International Certification firm Des Norke Veritas under accreditation from UKAS for its three India facilities in Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai, as well as two of its U.S. facilities in Farmington Hills, Mich. and Middletown, Conn.

OFFSHORE CERTIFICATIONS

ISO 9001:2000

Covansys' offshore centers in Chennai and Bangalore, India have been ISO 9001 certified since 1994. All three development centers in India (Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore) are ISO 9001:2000 certified.

SEI-PCMM ^®

In 2002, Covansys India's centers in Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai were assessed at Level 5 of the Software Engineering Institute's (SEI) People Capability Maturity Model (PCMM^®).

SEI-CMM ^®

Covansys India's development centers at Chennai and Bangalore achieved the Software Engineering Institute - Capability Maturity Model (SEI-CMM^®) Level 5 on the first assessment in 1999.

U.S. CERTIFICATIONS

SEI-CMM ^®

Covansys' Bay Area Advanced Technology Center, located in Milpitas, California was assessed as operating at the Manage Process Maturity Level (Level Four) of the Software Engineering Institute - Capability Maturity Model (SEI-CMM^®) in 2001.

Covansys' Public Sector Software Development Center, located in Columbus, Ohio achieved Level Three of the Software Engineering Institute - Capability Maturity Model (SEI-CMM^®) in 2001.
