CORPORATION AS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Brings Nearly 20 Years of Experience to Post
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 15, 2004--Covansys
Corporation (Nasdaq: CVNSE - News), a global consulting and technology
services company, today named James S. Trouba as the company's
new chief financial officer.
As CFO of Covansys, Trouba will oversee all global finance functions
and have direct responsibility for corporate accounting, tax, treasury
and investor relations activities. He will also oversee corporate
development, and the planning and internal control functions of
the company. Trouba will serve as a member of the company's executive
team, reporting to Covansys President and Chief Executive Officer
Martin C. Clague.
To ensure a smooth transition, John Andary, the former CFO of
Syntel, who has been serving as interim CFO since March 18, 2004,
will stay on in a consulting capacity during a transition period.

Trouba, 41, comes to Covansys from Ernst & Young LLP where
he completed a nearly 20-year career auditing and advising global
public companies in a number of areas, including acquisitions and
internal controls.

A resident of Ann Arbor, Trouba holds a bachelor's degree in Business
Administration from the University of Michigan, and is a member
