G. RAVINDRAN NAMED HEAD OF GLOBAL HUMAN RESOURCES
FOR COVANSYS CORPORATION
FARMINGTON HILLS, MI, April 12, 2005 – Covansys Corporation
(NASDAQ: CVNS), a global consulting and technology services company,
today announced that
G. Ravindran (Ravi) has joined Covansys as Senior Vice President
and Head of Global Human Resources.
In this newly created position, Mr. Ravindran will be responsible
for all human resources development functions as well as strategic
initiatives involving employee recognition and retention, career
development, performance measurement and compensation. He will
be based in Chennai, India and will report to Raj Vattikuti, President
and Chief Executive Officer of Covansys.

Mr. Ravindran, 47, most recently served as Chief Human Resource
Officer at Bharti Televentures Limited, a leading mobile telecom
technology service provider in Delhi. Previously he held senior
level human resources positions at other large Indian companies
and multi-national corporations including Ernst & Young, Pepsi,
Blue Dart Express, ANZ Grindlays Bank, Unilever and ICI India.
He is a graduate of the University of Mysore and has received Master’s
degrees from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and the University
of Bombay.
