FUJI XEROX INFORMATION SYSTEMS PARTNERS WITH COVANSYS
TO
DEVELOP DATA WAREHOUSING AND DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS FOR
THEIR CUSTOMERS IN JAPAN
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (June 13, 2005) – Covansys
Corporation (Nasdaq: CVNS), a global consulting and technology
services company, today announced that it has signed a Master Services
Agreement (MSA) with Fuji Xerox Information Systems (FXIS), a leader
in Information Systems and solutions in Japan and a wholly-owned
subsidiary of global document and imaging giant, Fuji Xerox Corporation,
to develop Data Warehousing, Document Management and e-Commerce
solutions. Covansys will be delivering these state-of-the-art solutions
from one of its BS7799-2:2002, CMM Level 5 and PCMM Level 5 assessed
offshore development centers in India.
Covansys’ Data Warehousing practice provides design, data-modeling
and development capabilities leveraging tools from Business Objects®,
Cognos®, MicroStrategy® and other renowned business intelligence
and reporting tool companies. FXIS Japan customers will benefit
from state-of-the-art delivery processes and Data Warehousing best
practices by leveraging Covansys’ unique onsite/offsite/offshore
delivery capability to achieve rapid deployment, world-class quality
and reduced costs.
