Farmington Hills, Mich. and Singapore, (May 3, 2004) – Covansys
Corporation (Nasdaq: CVNS), a global consulting and technology
services company, today announced that it has signed a reseller
agreement with Documentum, the leader in enterprise content management
(ECM) and a division of EMC Corporation, to license its software
in Asia Pacific.
The two companies will jointly market the Documentum ECM platform
to Asia Pacific clients, and Covansys will have access to Documentum
technology and training programs to ensure top quality services
and support.
The Documentum ECM platform enables companies to create, manage,
deliver and archive large volumes of any type of content (documents,
web pages, XML files, rich media and fixed content) within and
beyond the enterprise, helping global organizations automate business
processes and drive enterprise-wide efficiencies.

In addition to the ECM platform, Covansys will also be licensed
to sell other Documentum products, including Documentum eRoom,
the company’s enterprise collaboration solution, which recently
won Network World’s 2003 “Best of the Tests Award” for
messaging and collaboration. eRoom is a web-based collaborative
workplace that enables distributed teams to work together to accelerate
and improve development and delivery of products and services,
optimize collaborative business processes, and improve innovation,
problem-solving, and decision-making.
